Luca Valentino

Luca is an introvert who--despite his ambitions, strong opinions, and innovative ideas in the field of Sfeer theory (the study of magic)--prefers to keep everything to himself. When he has to interact, he is usually either obliging and curt or nervous and tense.
Get past his stumbling nerves (or just irritate him enough--which isn't terribly difficult to do) and he can be very well-spoken. With a natural desire to learn, he likes to show his intelligence now and again, especially since he doesn't often get the chance to. On a similar note, Luca has been known to have an active nightlife; he very much would prefer anyone he sees on a daily basis not to know about that.
Since a Cyclist's power is derived from his personality, Luca's does not work quite the way that most do. A conventionally powerful Cyclist uses the force of his will to control objects or people. As Luca's personality type is not outwardly influential, he has a rather roundabout way of doing things: he persuades the things around him to do what he wants--having them use their own, natural power (for even objects have their own magical energy) rather than his own--for example, convincing a room to clean itself up. He actually does that pretty often since it's his job to clean up after other Cyclists at Uitspan Academy. Did I mention he's not actually licensed to practice magic?
